TITLE: BLESSES IS HE THAT KEEPETH THE SAVINGS OF THE PROPHECY OF THIS BOOK

DATE: SATURDAY APRIL 10 2021

TEXT: Psalm 19: 7-14

Key verse: Revelation 22: 7, ‘Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keep the sayings of the prophecy of this book.’

From our key verse the Lord Jesus has blessed all that follow the sayings of the prophecy of the word of God. The holy Bible is the only book of repute because no other book is qualified to be called holy. This is for the definite fact that no religion is comparable to Christianity. Indeed Christianity is superior to every other religion on earth. All other religions are the works of Satan. In this regard, let no one divert your attention to any other thing other than what is written in this book, because there is none else. And this is the Holy Bible which has 66 books; 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.

The apocrypha writings which other people brought up are not approved by God. God did not approve them because they were not written by His inspiration, yet carnal religious men added these unapproved writings to their own denominational Bibles to their hurt, as seen in Catholicism. Will God almighty do all this work of eternal life, document it like this and not protect His own pure word? Can Jesus come down from heaven and speak the words of eternal life to the people and not preserve His own words? He said, “the words that I speak to you they are spirit and life.” Since He asked them to write them in a book, He will definitely watch over His own words.

Knowing that Satan would always want to tamper with the pure word of God, God has protected the holy Bible from defilement. For this reason, all those apocrypha books which you may hear of are not part of the word of God. They are the philosophical writings of men who are the agents of Satan, so don’t follow after them but follow after the Holy Bible. God led the Jewish scribes who produced the canon of the Old Testament and the early Church fathers who completed the canon of the New Testament to reject these apocrypha writings.
