TITLE: DO NOT JUSTIFY SINNERS WHEN THEY ARE FACING GOD’S JUDGMENT

DATE: Thursday, January 21, 2021

TEXT: Numbers 16:27-35

KEY VERSE: Psalm 106:13 ‘They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:’

In today’s devotional text, we see God’s judgment against rebellious Korah and his noble companions who rose up against the authority of Moses. But it didn’t go down well with the people. It was like there was a miscarriage of justice on the part of God. God had judged but human heart will not accept His judgment. If you allow a demon to come in and start his work on you, you will need to work hard to quickly get him out, otherwise you will fall prey to the devil. He has not come for peace but for your destruction. He wants to stand until you are destroyed. See it in Numbers 16:41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

What would you say about these human beings? Are they in their senses at all? Did Satan take away their senses? With all the appearing of the glory of the Lord? With all the mystery of judgment, they still came to say that those that were killed were people of the Lord? Which Lord? Is Satan Lord? Are you serving Satan? Do you call Satan Lord? The Lord showed clearly that these men are sinners. You are coming again to say that these rebels are people of the Lord. With all the judgment that you saw, they still had the effrontery to come back to Moses and Aaron. Certainly, this thing is demonic. In fact, they wanted to kill them too. Which means Dothan and Korah did serious work on these people to the point that even when divine judgment was fully manifested, they said, “No, you killed them; we will kill you too.” I pray that God would back up this work. God must do this work Himself. He must teach us how to handle this matter. He must rise up and judge man. Immediately the glory of the Lord appeared, people were already dying. Within a short time before sacrifice could be offered to appease God and stop his wrath, 14,700 had gone. Don’t join wicked people, otherwise you will go before your time. Don’t fight this Movement, don’t fight the leadership. God himself is the one that takes decision and makes choices of what you are seeing here.

Thought for the day: Don’t cover sin. Don’t justify a sinner.

Song for the day: Have Your way oh Lord, (in HOREMOW) have Your way oh Lord.
