TITLE: FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF RUTH WHO LIVED AN EXEMPLARY LIFE STYLE

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1ST, 2021

TEXT: RUTH 1:15-18
(15) And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.
(16) And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
(17) Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
(18) When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Ruth lived a virtuous life as a widow. She made the choice to serve the living God. Ruth made up her mind to serve the Lord. She had watched the life of Naomi and seen commitment to the living God. She made up her mind to serve the living God. Woman, if you want to overcome immorality, start with God by giving your life to Him. He alone can change you and remove immorality from you. Love God with all your heart, soul, strength and might.

That is how the power of immorality, lesbianism, pornography, masturbation and fornication will be broken in your life. Release your heart to Jesus and experience victory over lust and evil thoughts. The fly of immorality cannot land on your body. Those immoral people looking for widows and young girls to defile them will not come to you. God will be with you to repel all evil and you will be free. Release yourself unto God and serve the Lord as Ruth did.

Ruth was fully submissive to instruction and mentorship of her mother in law. She saw the need to cater to Naomi. ‘I must feed this woman. This is an old woman. What can she do? I will take care of her.’ She had been taking care of Naomi over there in Moab, even in this place where she appeared not to know anybody. She said I will take care of my old mother. What a good character! Virtuous woman! She did not go after men for money.

Be submissive to God’s ordained authority in the family, church and society in general. Make your mind known to the leadership of the church. I am talking about a holy and clean church. Submit yourself and seek counsel from the leadership on all matters. Your way shall be okay. Your way shall be directed. Show the dreams that have been troubling you. Come for prayer. You will be guided. Are you having in mind as if you should marry somebody? Come and reveal yourself. You will be helped.
