TEXT: ISAIAH 58:9-12
(9) Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
(10) And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:
(11) And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
(12) And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

KEY VERSE: JEREMIAH 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
God knows your needs, desires and plans for He is your Creator and Father. He feels them along with you. In His understanding and Fatherly love He is planning to meet your needs and give you satisfaction. Your duty is to trust Him and wait for Him. We see this in His provision of a helpmate to Adam.

God brought animals and birds to Adam to name them. Adam noticed that the animals and birds were in pairs, male and female. It revealed a need in Adam. He started wishing for a female partner as he saw in the animals. God saw that Adam needed a female partner and went into action to meet that need. God committed Himself to satisfy Adam. He saw it as His responsibility as his Creator. (1) He made him fall into a deep sleep (2) He took one of his ribs (3) He made a woman from that rib (4) He brought her to Adam.

Adam saw his need met by God and was joyful and satisfied. He said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.” God is responsible to you as Creator, Savior, Deliverer and Satisfier. God thought good on Adam and satisfied him, so He is thinking good toward you to satisfy your needs. (1) He will bring about the circumstance that will work out your own salvation. (2) He will communicate to you the wisdom that will produce your victory and progress. (3) He will lead you to the place that will satisfy your longing heart and grant answers to your prayers. (4) He will send you the person to bless your life. (5) He will perform the miracle in your life through His divine power.

Now you know that God knows your need and feels with you. You are expected to do (1) Pray to God and tell Him all you need with thanksgiving. (2) Trust Him with all your heart to meet your needs. Do not take any sinful steps to meet your need.  (3) Wait for the Lord to make you satisfied as Adam.
