PRAISE HIM FOR HIS GOODNESS

EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA:

TITLE: PRAISE HIM FOR HIS GOODNESS

DATE: THURSDAY MAY 6 2021

TEXT: PSALM 100:1-5

KEY VERSE: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High.” (Psalm 92:1).

Come before the Lord with thanksgiving. Render praises unto His name. Give testimony of His love, power and goodness. Sing happily before Him and in the congregation of His saints. Sing aloud to Him and let those that serve not the Lord hear His praise and be drawn to Him.
God is great. He is good and merciful. Great are the deeds of His loving-kindness unto us. We see His goodness manifested in our lives and in others, in our nation and in the world. Our duty is to thank Him. We are commanded by the scripture to be thankful, to live in the spirit of thanksgiving before the Lord.

God loves the praises of His people. He created all things for His praise. The angels sing His praises and worship Him. Praising God is our duty on earth. Praise Him for His love and power. Praise Him for His good works. Praise Him because He made us. Praise Him because he created you for His praise. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Our thanksgiving and praises can flow to God in songs. We should sing happily, wholeheartedly, inspiringly, to show forth the glory of God. Let your whole being sing and let those that hear you be moved by His praises. Learn to praise God daily. He deserves your praises and thanksgiving. Have you praised Him today? If everything that has breathe praises the Lord then what about you? “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 5:19-20).

Thought for the day: Cultivate the attitude of praise and thanksgiving to God.

Song for the day: Thank you Jesus, thank you my Lord.
