TESTIMONY OF A MUSLIM CONVERT – PART 2

EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA:
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide

TITLE: TESTIMONY OF A MUSLIM CONVERT – PART 2

DATE: THURSDAY MARCH 4, 2021

TEXT: Acts 26:12-16

KEY VERSE: Mark 5:19 ‘Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.’

(Continued from yesterday)

I had heard the testimony of Binta Jalingo among many Muslim converts, but the Muslims were saying those confessions were not true but framed up testimonies. While I stood praying on the road that night, one man came out of his house and started mocking me. He said I should not disturb people around. I ignored him and kept praying. When I was through, I went my way. When I slept I had a revelation. A man just appeared to me and was smiling with angels around him. I shouted in the revelation, “Who are you?” Suddenly, a very bright cross appeared in His front. I began to admire the Man, the angels and the cross, then I woke up.

I prepared to have my Muslim prayer but I began to notice some contradictions. The cross I saw in my revelation appeared to me physically. I decided to force myself into the Islamic prayer but surprisingly, I saw myself on my knees with my hands raised up and giving glory to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. There was a great confusion and trouble in my house as to what had happened to me. Every effort made by my father to bring down my hands with all the quotations from Qur’an was fruitless. My hands only came down when the Holy Spirit was through with me. After that, my parents said they would take me to one mallam because, to them, I had encountered demons. I told them I was going nowhere. In spite of all these experiences, I had not accepted Christianity yet as a true religion.

Finally, it was time for the December Conference and I made up my mind to go and hear from the true man or woman of God I have been hearing about. If Pastor Rika or Mummy Linda would call my name and say, “One Rashida Abeson, a muslim girl, is here. Come out; the Lord wants to save you,” then I will finally accept Christianity as the true religion and will also believe that God is truly in HOREMOW. This was what I had in mind as I went to the conference. But God is not man, we cannot dictate to Him. Before I finally left for the program the devil filled my heart with the thought that I was not going to come back alive if I went for the conference. With this thought I decided to go on fasting.

(To be concluded tomorrow)
