TITLE: THE BLESSED LIFE OF TOTAL TRUST IN GOD

TEXT: Psalm 115:9-12

KEY VERSE: Psalm 73:28
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

This message was given to me many years ago when I was ministering in Langtang, Plateau State, Nigeria. God had put in my heart the vision of the message titled “Complete Trust in God.” It is a message that will kill all the problems in your life. It will take away your worries, take away your fears, take away everything troubling your life. It is the message of peace; it is a message of faith whereby you abandon everything to God.

A particular brother told me a story sometimes in the 90s. He said that he was a swimmer and he tried to struggle out of a big body of water. As he was swimming across the water he lost his strength. Instead of swimming against the tide, he decided to raise up his head above the water and release his body to flow with the water. With little strength in him, he was able to get to the shore by releasing himself to the tide. This explains how you can have a complete trust in God and yield yourself completely to His will. You have struggled on your own in time past, now is the time to release yourself to God and allow Him to direct the affairs of your life. Yield your heart to Him and things will begin to take shape for you. You have struggled much and now you don’t know what to do again; your strength is going and you are sinking. Just release yourself and trust in God. That trust is the anchor of life. Go with that faith and you will come out fine and victorious.

God wants you to look up confidently to the sky and you will discover that His eyes are upon you. Bible says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” Is the temptation heavy on you? It is so strong and you have battled and battled and battled, and now your strength is gone and you are at a loss on what to do? In your mind’s eye, look up to Jesus hanging on the cross where all the ordinances against you were nailed, your matter was settled and He declared victoriously “it is finished.” As you handover to Jesus, your trouble is over in Jesus Name. Amen!

Thought for the day: Your trust in God is the guarantee of your safety.

Song for the day: I will lift up my eyes to the hill from whence cometh my help…..
