TEXT: EXODUS 14:13-14 KJV
13) And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14) The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

KEY VERSE: 2 CHRONICLES 20:23
For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

In all your confusion, you don’t know what to do, you don’t know where to turn to concerning your business failure, concerning your delay in marriage, concerning the waywardness of your child, or infidelity of your husband, or the stubbornness of your wife, or the hatred of your mother-in-law. Whatever the problem, God has the solution to get the problem solved. God is the solution provider.

2 Chronicles 20:12-15
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon Thee.  And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.  Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;  And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

The people of Judah lamented that they don’t know what to do, but their God knows. God had the solution to that matter. Though powerful enemies ganged up against them, they cried to the Lord and became victorious.  Today’s key verse showed that God made their enemies destroy themselves. There is always a divine solution to the threat of death, or poverty, or enemy attack or lack of food in the family. So, gather yourself and let us go to the Lord to provide a solution.

I remember when Ezra was returning to the land of Israel in the company of people, there was fear that there could be an enemy attack on the way. If he went to the king to ask for security escorts it would lower his esteem and cause shame because they had boasted of the power of the God of Israel before the king. Ezra then told the people, let us go before the Lord in fasting to seek His face so that He could handle the matter of security of our journey by Himself and they travelled safely without mishap. So always go before the Lord for a solution to your problem.
