EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA:

TITLE: WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM
DATE: MONDAY JUNE 21, 2021
TEXT: 1 JOHN 3:1-9
KEY VERSE: 1 John 3:3 “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
As the saints shall be resurrecting from the grave they shall be coming out with a new body, because when you die, the body that decays is going to transform to another body. For instance, when you plant a corn on the ground, it dies before the new body comes up. The new body that comes up oft looks different from the seed that was planted and does not look alike with it. This is because it will become a new thing all together. In this case, the Lord God almighty determines the body to give a new corn. You sow a corn as a grain but when it germinates and grows up, you can see a different crop all together.
How many times does the new crop looks bigger than the grain and even more beautiful? This is a surprise because a grain that you can match with your feet on the ground could turn to be wonderful plant to be admired. But after it has been planted, germinated and grown, it becomes taller than you even. It is the body God gave to it that looks that glorious. So God will give a glorious body to the resurrected saints. That body will not be ugly. You might have been told that you are ugly, but I’m telling you that you should not bother about that, let those who are saying that that you are ugly wait to see you at the resurrection. The least of the saints that have died and entered heaven are very marvelous in their glorious bodies. If one of them is sent to the earth now as they are in heaven, even now that they are yet to be glorified with their resurrection body, but the glory they carry, you will think this is God himself. We shall see him as he is. We shall be like him. Those who have died will take a new body at their resurrection. Then we which are alive will be waiting for them to rise up first. After they have risen up and are going to heaven, then a sudden miracle will take place. By the power of the Holy Spirit that is in you. God who is the quickening spirit will quicken your body and you will be suddenly transformed as a sort of metamorphosis. You will be suddenly transformed into a glorious body, and you will be lifted up to the sky by the Spirit.
Thought for the day: The dead in Christ shall rise first.
